Laboratory Instruments and Supplies Ireland Ltd was founded in 1990 as a distributor/agency, to market and sell products in both the Clinical and Industrial fields in Ireland. From the initial workforce of 2, we have since increased to 12 full time staff and 2 part time.

Biomoc V3 color digital imaging technology automates reading and interpretation of antibiotic susceptibility tests for bacteria and yeast following CLSI, EUCAST and BSAC guidelines. BIOMIC V3 also reads and interprets commercial identification panels including API®, RapID™, Crystal™ and performs automated colony counting. An LIS/LIMS interface combined with bar code reading and touch-screen entry provides microbiology laboratories an optimal setup to standardize, record and report test results.

All our engineers are trained on the maintainance/installations of our equipment as well as customer care for all the products that we sell.
In late 1999 we moved into our new, purpose built 14,000 sq.ft. facility, of which 5,000 sq.ft. is dedicated to office space, training (staff and clients) and our engineering workshop. By doing so our customers are assured of our ongoing committment and support.
Nationwide technical support and backup is offered from our offices in Ashbourne and covers application, routine maintainance and service backup for every product that we provide. In addition our sales team is fully trained on the application of all the equipment that we sell.
