Laboratory Instruments and Supplies Ireland Ltd was founded in 1990 as a distributor/agency, to market and sell products in both the Clinical and Industrial fields in Ireland. From the initial workforce of 2, we have since increased to 12 full time staff and 2 part time.

We are currently exclusive distributors of laboratory products in Ireland for many leading companies including:

Leica Microsystems:
Products from Leica include Surgical operating microscopes, Histopathology products such as tissue processors, cryostats and microtomes, Fully automated inspection stations for the electronic industry and a full range of Research and Teaching bench microscopes.

Neo Markers
Primary and secondary antibodies.

SONY:
High Resolution Video Monitors, Cameras, Video Printers, Recorders and Video Conferencing and Projection Equipment.

Medical Wire and Equipment:
Microbiological Transwabs, Micro Slide Mailers, Micro Loops, Rapid Strip Tests, Dry Swabs and Microbiology controls and supplements.

Lab Vision:
Automated Robotic Immunostaining Instrument for research and routine Histological investigation.

The company is I.S.O. 9001 - 2000 Certified. This covers all aspects of the business including our engineers.

All our engineers are trained on the maintainance/installations of our equipment as well as customer care for all the products that we sell.

In late 1999 we moved into our new, purpose built 14,000 sq.ft. facility, of which 5,000 sq.ft. is dedicated to office space, training (staff and clients) and our engineering workshop. By doing so our customers are assured of our ongoing committment and support.

Nationwide technical support and backup is offered from our offices in Ashbourne and covers application, routine maintainance and service backup for every product that we provide. In addition our sales team is fully trained on the application of all the equipment that we sell.
